Gentle nutrition counselling
Over the years, my professional and personal experiences have refined my nutrition care philosophy. My approach is rooted in the Person or Family-Centered Care model, and I am informed by non-diet, weight-inclusive and intuitive eating principles.
I am driven by connection, integrity and creativity and am committed to inclusive, affirming and sustainable healthcare practices. I acknowledge that I hold multiple privileges and remain open to feedback as I continue on the journey of learning and unlearning.
Every family is unique, and so should our approach to eating be
I am sceptical of "one size fits all" and dogmatic approaches to health and wellbeing (and life in general). That is why I work within a responsive feeding framework when helping families feed their children. I keep informed with evidence-based research on nutrition and food science, and equally value your lived experiences. I collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as paediatricians, psychologists, and occupational therapists.

My goal is to help you and your family to find better ways to eat.
Eating better will have a different meaning for each family. And means so much more than what we eat (or "shouldn't" be eating). Eating better prioritises how we eat and feed our families, and how we think, feel and talk about food and our bodies.
Working with me can help you:

Feed your family with more confidence, flexibility and fun.

Strengthen your intuition and feeling secure in what and how you feed your family.

Find inspiration and info to create nourishing and more varied meals, lunchboxes and snacks.

Create a home that nurtures body acceptance and appreciation.

Reduce stress, frustration and battles around mealtimes.

Let go of shame, fear and perfectionism around food, health and weight.
