More about my services

I support families navigating a wide range of nutrition concerns, from 'picky' or fussy eaters, neurodivergent children and teens, youth athletes, growth and weight concerns and eating disorder support. My approach is practical, compassionate and grounded in what works for real families.

Where to Start

Finding the right support for your child can feel overwhelming, especially when there is so much information out there, and feeding, growth, or eating concerns have been ongoing for a while. My goal is to make the first step feel simple, safe, and supportive.

Here’s how we begin working together, and how each type of consultation fits into your child’s care.

Free Discovery Call (15 minutes)

If you’re unsure whether nutrition support is the right fit — or simply want to understand my approach — this is the perfect place to start.

During this short, no-pressure call, you can get a sense of whether I’m the right person to support your family. If it feels like a good match, the next step is the Initial Nutrition and Feeding Assessment.

Initial Nutrition and Feeding Assessment (75 minutes)

This is our foundational session and is required before any follow-up work. You can choose between an online consultation and a home visit.

During this appointment, we will review your child’s nutrition, growth, medical history, sensory profile, training demands and daily eating experiences. The aim is to understand what’s happening and where to begin together. You’ll leave with personalised insights and 2-3 practical strategies you can start using immediately.

From here, I guide you toward the most appropriate next steps for your child and family.

If you need to discuss more than one child (or want to look at the whole family's nutrition), an extended assessment is available. Please contact me directly to arrange it.

Follow-Up Support (45–50 minutes per session)

Follow-up sessions provide ongoing guidance as you implement strategies, troubleshoot challenges, and build confidence in feeding and nutrition. This is typically where the real growth and change happen.

These sessions help us review progress, understand what’s working, adapt what isn’t, and support your child’s ongoing growth, comfort, and relationship with food.

Families can book follow-ups individually or choose a three-session support package for a more structured, consistent approach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should my child attend the session?

Every family is different, and sessions are always tailored to suit your situation.

For younger children, I usually work primarily with parents or caregivers, especially in the first session. The initial appointment often involves extensive adult discussion, which can feel long or tedious for young children. Starting with parents helps us create a clear plan before involving your child.

At times, a gentle mealtime or eating-environment observation can be helpful, and we’ll discuss this together if needed.

For teenagers, sessions may include your teen for part or all of the appointment, depending on what feels comfortable and appropriate. We’ll decide this together, with your child's emotional safety, autonomy and agency in mind.

How many sessions will we need?

It depends on your child’s needs and your goals. For meaningful change, most families begin with an Initial Assessment, followed by 2–3 follow-up sessions. In some cases, long-term ongoing support is needed, e.g. with eating disorder recovery.

After the Initial Assessment, I will guide you on the most appropriate and realistic plan for your child and family.
