I am Karlien Duvenage, an experienced Dietitian and Nutritionist (with an MSc in Psychology) and an imperfect mother based in Singapore.
I provide virtual and home-based nutrition counselling and group workshops for parents and caregivers of infants, children, and teenagers.
Together, we develop nutrition strategies to support any feeding or eating challenge, including sensory processing differences, ARFID (Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder), gastrointestinal conditions, body image concerns, and disordered eating.
All bodies are welcome here.
Like most parents, I know you are doing your best. Therefore, you and your family deserve appropriate support and guidance around how and what to feed your family in an increasingly complex world.
As a dietitian and nutritionist for nearly 20 years, I have worked with diverse families and often provide support for "picky" eaters, ARFID, gut disorders, neurodivergence (e.g., nutrition for autistic children and ADHDers), food preoccupation, and youth sports nutrition. I also support families in navigating their child's weight, body image, and disordered eating concerns.
